XO Life: Medtech startup raises more than 2 million EUR

The medtech startup XO Life has secured more than 2 million euros in its latest financing round. Investors include international healthcare VC SeedLink and the corporate venture capital arm MediVentures of pharmaceutical company Medice. This financial support enables XO Life to accelerate the development and expansion of its innovative patient insights platform. The platform, which was originally designed as a reporting and information platform for side effects, now enables patients to record and share their experiences with drugs and therapies in a standardized way and in compliance with data protection regulations. These patient-reported outcomes (PROs) are increasingly important for evaluating drugs and treatments, particularly in the context of precision medicine and reimbursement. XO Life is working together with Charité's Promis Institute Germany and various pharmaceutical manufacturers to develop the platform into a standard tool in healthcare.
